When it comes to new games, January 2021 just got a little less crowded. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time won’t appear exactly as planned. When Ubisoft announced the Prince of Persia remake at its September 2020 Ubisoft Forward, it said people would be able to play it on January 21, 2021. Now, the Ubisoft Czechoslovakia Facebook page says it will launch on March 18, 2021. [Thanks, NeoRaider on Resetera and Daniel “ZhugeEX” Ahmad!]

This Prince of Persia remake is one we’ve sort of known about for a while. First, there was a Guatamalan store leak. Then, Ubisoft’s Uplay itself shared art from the game ahead of its announcement. When it debuts, it will have new character models, improved graphics, and rerecorded performances.

The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake will debut on March 18, 2021 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The original game appeared in 2003 on the Game Boy Advance, Game Cube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC.
