This fourth game in the series is a prequel set roughly 400 years before the first game. It follows Kaho, a priestess from a secluded village, who journeys to the eastern lands to find out why her homeland has been cursed and left to slowly decay.

As with previous Momodora games, Reverie Under the Moonlight will be a side-scrolling platformer that focuses on combat with “melee combos, dodge mechanics and a variety of items and spells to use.”
