Preliminary FFXIV 6.3 Patch Notes Shared

The preliminary FFXIV 6.3 patch notes are here. Square Enix always shares some of the basics of upcoming content ahead of its official debut. While full patch notes are expected once it launches on January 10, 2023, these offer a hint of things to come. As expected, they are still quite lengthy and cover areas, FATES, grand and free company changes, The Manderville Gold Saucer additions, quests, Treasure Hunt details, housing news, miscellaneous updates, PVP and Crystalline Conflict stuff, items coming, and general system alterations.

The official page for the preliminary FFXIV 6.3 patch notes goes over many things in detail. Some of the basics are things we already had hints about. For example, we knew new Main Scenario quests with Zero were on the way, along with Chronicles of a New Era Myths of the Realm, Tales of Newfound Adventure, and Tataru’s Grand Endeavor quests. The Paladin rework was also previously explained.

However, some new reveals show up in the preliminary FFXIV 6.3 patch notes. We get to see FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest 2019 items like the lemonade stand and fountain. The Manderville Gold Saucer GATE schedule came up, showing what you can expect every 20, 40, and 60 minutes. Also, in addition to the Corgi minion, there will be cosmetic items like a Corgi bandana and earring at Wondrous Tails for Khloe’s Certificates of Commendation.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Patch 6.3 will launch on January 10, 2023.
