PowerWash Simulator Has Us Clean Santa’s Workshop Today

FuturLab announced people can now head to Santa’s Workshop in PowerWash Simulator on most platforms. The doors will open on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 14, 2023, with the Switch version showing showing up after Christmas on January 8, 2024.

The free area is referred to as Merry Washmas. Once people download it, they can change their avatar’s appearance and head to a new map to clean up at the North Pole. The Power Washer’s suit features an ugly sweater motif with matching “mittens.” The washer wand can be changed to look green with a candy cane-like handle.

A trailer and a handful of screenshots were released to offer a better look at the new space. Some of the messes will have elf-sized footprints or outlines on walls. There will be a tree to clean, Santa’s chair, and workshop elements. There will also be an area where people can see Santa’s suit and the elves’ uniforms.

And here’s a closer look at some elements of the map.

It isn’t uncommon for free PowerWash Simulator add-ons to appear. A free Tomb Raider update added Croft Manor to clean. Another allowed people to head to Midgar to clean places from FFVII Remake

Powerwash Simulator is available on the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. Santa’s Workshop is out on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC now. It will appear on the Switch on January 8, 2023.
