There’s more information Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Super Edition, the latest complete version of the game due out in May 2021. The big package will end up costing $49.99, should someone not have any elements of the game yet. However, there will also be options for people who already have some versions. nWay confirmed it will have Upgrade kits for platforms as well.
As a reminder, there are currently two ways to get started with Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. One is to get the base version of the game, which is $19.99. Though until April 15, 2021, it is temporarily $12.99 via Steam. There is also the Collector’s Edition. It gives people the main game and the Season One Pass items like Gold Zeo Ranger, Lord Zedd, and Time Force Pink Ranger. That version is normally $29.99, though it too is on sale through steam for 35% until April 15, 2021, bringing that price down to $19.49.
While the upgrade kits for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Super Edition were mentioned, nWay didn’t explain how they will be priced or if there will be multiple options. For reference, this edition would include everything in the Collector’s Edition and the Season Two Pass characters Dai Shi, SPD Shadow Ranger, and Time Force Quantum Ranger and Season Three Pass characters Purple Jungle Fury Ranger, Scorpina, and Super Samurai Red Ranger. (All special skins would also be included.) The Street Fighter Pack, with Chun-Li, Ryu and their costumes, would be there along with four character skins.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. The Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Super Edition and its upgrade packs will be out on May 25, 2021.
