The story of PoPoLoCrois Farm Story begins with the celebration of the young prince Pietro’s 10th birthday. The story starts out in the Popolocrois Kingdom, and Pietro had decided to visit his friend Narcia for the first time in a long while.

After listening to advice from a castle soldier named Gomel, he then heads into the depths of the forest with a present to give Narcia. As Pietro made his way into the forest where she lives, but it’s full of fierce monsters. However, when he shows up, he ends up seeing someone else instead, an older witch by the name Guilda. Just where did Narcia go?

The Popolocrois is supposed to be a peaceful kingdom, but for some reason, mysterious creatures known as the “Dark Beasts” have been showing up, and putting folks at unease. That’s when a beautiful lady by the name of Marmella shows up during Pitro’s birthday.

Marmella is a diplomat from a land called “Galariland,” and her land seems to have the countermeasure that could save Popolocrois Kingdom from the Dark Beasts.

In order to save Popolocrois Kingdom and the rest of the world from the threat of the Dark Beasts, PIetro heads to Galariland in hopes of finding a way to fight against them and get rid of them once and for all… however, things aren’t always as easy as they seem.

The Famitsu issue also provides a look at some parts of Galariland, and how it’ll have all four seasons. During the spring you can get strawberries and tulips, while sunflowers are big in the summer. The fall has pumpkins and eggplant. The crops can then be shipped out or used as items.

There seems to be other features that we’ve seen from the Harvest Moon series, like being able to water your own crops, and friendly farmers who’ll help you along the way.

PoPoLoCrois Farm Story is in development for Nintendo 3DS.
