Niantic has announced improved settings options for the Pokémon GO Plus peripheral. If people head into Pokémon GO’s settings, they’ll see new notifications for the accessory. It is now possible to choose which alerts you’ll receive when wearing Pokémon GO Plus. You can choose if it alerts you to both nearby Pokémon and PokéStops, in case you only want to try and catch more Pokémon or collect more rewards. It is also possible to turn off notifications for both.

The Pokémon GO Plus pairing settings have been adjusted as well. Previously, the accessory might unpair with Pokémon GO if you were trying to visit a gym or catch a Pokémon in the app while using it. Now, it will remain paired if you participate in a gym battle or interact with Pokémon in ordinary means.

Pokémon GO and the Plus accessory are now available for Apple iOS and Android devices.
