Pokkén Tournament Has No Current Plans For Adding Pokémon Or Stages Via DLC

Pokémon and fighting game fans will finally be able to play Pokkén Tournament on the Wii U when the game releases next month. [Thanks, Serebii.]

Like Super Smash Bros. and many other fighting games, some people suspected Pokkén Tournament to be eventually expanded with DLC. However, we are now learning this might not be the case for Pokkén. The Pokémon Company has revealed that there are currently no plans to add more Pokémon to the roster or release more stages via downloadable content. Whether or not this will ever change remains to be seen.

Pokkén Tournament will release worldwide for the Wii U on March 18th.
