Pokemon Zarude Distribution Will Begin in December

We now know not only when Pokemon the Movie: Coco will appear worldwide, but when the Pokemon Sword and Shield Zarude distribution event will be held. The Mythical Pokemon can be acquired in-game via a code in December 2020. Then, the English version of the film, called Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle, will appear in 2021.

There are different ways to get Zarude outside of Japan, depending on where you live. In North America, Zarude distribution will be handled by the Pokemon Trainer Club email newsletter. An email with a code will arrive in subscribers’ inboxes on December 11, 2020. The European website confirmed that stores’ websites will have codes for the character on December 13, 2020.

The Zarude people will get will have the Leaf Guard ability. It will arrive at level 60 and know Close Combat, Power Whip, Snarl, and Swagger. You can also eventually have it learn Jungle Healing.

The first English trailer for Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle also dropped on November 13, 2020.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch. The Pokemon Zarude distribution will take place on December 11, 2020 in North America and on December 13, 2020 in Europe. Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle will be released outside Japan in 2021. (It will appear in Japan as Pokemon the Movie: Coco on December 25, 2020.)
