Soon, people in one region will get a chance to test out the next Pokemon mobile game. The Pokemon Unite Android beta will begin in Canada in March 2021. People in the region with applicable devices can sign up via Google Play.
This isn’t actually the first beta test for the game. That already happened in China. However, this is the first one to appear in English.
There aren’t too many details about what this Pokemon Unite Android beta test will entail. It is for people ages 16 and older who live in Canada. You won’t be able to save your progress from it, as this is only a test run. There will also be certain limitations in place. For example, both the product listing and official website announcement say people can’t share gameplay footage. (However, that didn’t keep people from leaking looks during the Pokemon Unite Chinese beta.)
Pokemon Unite is a MOBA from The Pokemon Company, Tencent Games, and Timi Studio. In it, people have teams of Pokemon facing off against other teams to try and dominate a map.
Pokemon Unite will appear on Android and Apple iOS devices worldwide. The next Pokemon Unite Android beta will be held in Canada sometime in March 2021.
