As part of the Pokemon 25th anniversary celebrations, a special Pokemon Trading Card Game expansion called Celebrations is on the way. The first items will arrive on October 8, 2021 and include both remakes of some original cards and cards with foil and the anniversary logo. The set will also have Delta, Light, and Star Pokemon in it. Subsequent items in this series will arrive later in October 2021.
On October 8, 2021, people will be able to find the three Collections boxes, a Deluxe Pin Collection box, an Elite Trainer Box, eight mini tins, and the Pikachu V-Union Special Collection. Here’s the list of what’s in this first round of Pokemon Trading Card Game Celebrations releases.
- Dark Sylveon V Collections with cards – $19.99
- Deluxe Pin Collection with Flying and Surfing Pikachu pins – $19.99
- Dragapult Prime Collection with cards and binder – $14.99
- Elite Trainer Box – $49.99
- Lance’s Charizard V Collections with cards – $19.99
- Mini Tins with cards, an anniversary coin, and art card (eight varieties) – $8.99
- Pikachu V-Union Special Collection with various cards – $29.99
The second round of Celebrations expansion items comes later in the month. On October 22, 2021, there will be two more sets. They’ll be followed by a Collector Chest, which currently only has an October 2021 release window.
- Collector Chest with cards, a notepad, and a coin in a lunch box – $24.99
- Pikachu VMAX Premium Figure Collection with Gigantamax Pikachu figure and cards – $49.99
- Ultra Premium Collection with Base Set Charizard and Pikachu metal cards, Charizard and Pikachu pins, a gold Poke Ball, a gold Pikachu V, a metal coin, a player’s guide, 17 Celebration packs, and eight additional packs – $119.99
