Game Freak and Nintendo shared a look at what’s coming to Pokemon Sword & Shield in its Expansion Pass Part 1’s The Isle of Armor during the Direct Mini.

The Isle of Armor is a nature-filled area with a theme focusing on “growth”. It features a dojo where trainers gather to master their skills. You’ll participate as a disciple under the mentor, Mustard, and doing so will get you the new Legendary Pokemon named Kubfu. However, the challenge only begins here, as trainers must then challenge the Towers of Two Fists using only Kubfu. Only upon clearing one of these two towers will Kubfu evolve into Urshifu.

Additionally, the trailer showcases the new Gigantamax forms for the final evolved forms of the three starters, Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon. The Gigantamax forms for the three will be available as a reward for adventuring The Isle of armor. The video shows their new moves with “G-Max Drum Solo” from Rillaboom, “G-Max Fireball” from Cinderace, and “G-Max Hydrosnipe” from Inteleon.
