The initial download size for Pokemon Sword and Shield has been revealed. In Japan, download cards for digital copies have appeared, and people who open them have discovered that the game will be 10.3GB at the very start. (Thanks, MIN428!)
The image of the card shared by MIN428 also shows a few different Pokemon Sword and Shield characters. In the screenshot next to the Pokemon Sword gym leader Bea, Mawile is shown facing a Gossifleur. In a camp screenshot showing a Pikachu and Wooloo, a Turtonator is in the background. The bottom right screenshot also shows a Raid Battle against a Hydreigon.
剣盾の容量は10.3GB。けっこう食うな…。

To compare, this would mean Pokemon Sword and Shield would be over twice the size of Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee!. Without patches, each of those games is 4.2GB.
Pokemon Sword and Shield will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.
