The Eevee Spotlight will run from November 24-27, 2022. You can get Eevees with various Tera Types during these days. It is likely that the Eevee will keep this Tera Type even if you evolve it. This means that if you obtain an Eevee with a Water Tera Type, you can drastically power up your Vaporeon. You could conceptually also obtain an Eevee evolution that will transform into a different type when it Terastallizes.

A Charizard with the Mightiest Mark will appear twice in December. You will first get the chance to catch it from December 1-4, 2022. After that, it will show up once more from December 15-18, 2022. Charizard is not native to Paldea, which means that if you miss these two windows, you may not be able to get a Charizard with a Dragon Tera Type until Nintendo decides to re-run this.

Tera Types will be a new mechanic in the Paldea region. It is part of the Terastal phenomenon in which Pokemon can take on a more crystalline appearance. There are 18 Tera Types to match the 18 Pokemon types. Terastallizing will allow you to either boost STAB moves or change a Pokemon’s typing for the rest of the battle, which could lead to greater variations in your strategy.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will come out for the Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022, and the Tera Raid Battles will be available for limited windows in December 2022.
