Editor’s note: There will be some spoilers for the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ending below.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero trailer appeared to offer a hint as to what to expect. At the end of the base game, players were able to go to Area Zero with Arven, Nemona, and Penny to explore and close out all the stories together. For this next tale, the trailer starts with the player at home with their mother. She brings up how there will be one more adventure for everyone. From there, it pans in on Kitakami. It’s at the spot where the player goes on the combined trip with the Blueberry Academy students during The Teal Mask. However, this time the avatar is there alongside Arven, Nemona, and Penny.

No dialogue is shown after this point, so we don’t know why the four students from the academy are there together. However, Arven and Penny both appear to be pointing at something airborne at one moment. At the very end of the trailer, it teases a specific item that seems to be the Mythical Pecha Berry connected to a new Pokemon.

Here’s the full trailer for the new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet epilogue. It closes out by saying it will be available on January 11, 2024 at 14:00 UTC. That would be about 6am PT/9am ET/4pm CEST. It also clarifies you need to finish the main game and its postgame, as well as The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk stories.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available for the Nintendo Switch, as is its Teal Mask and Indigo Disk DLC, and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero epilogue will come to the game on January 11, 2024 is someone owns the game and expansion.
