Pokemon Pikachu Headset With Ears Designed for Switch

Japanese accessory brand HORI has partnered with The Pokemon Company and Nintendo to release a Pikachu headset for the Nintendo Switch with ears, so that consumers can fully encapsulate what it means to be the mascot of the Pokemon series. This headset is compatible with the Nintendo Switch, and to some extent smartphones as well. It is only available in Japan and can be purchased through HORI’s Amazon storefront.

The headphones, as mentioned previously, will come with a set of soft ears that are designed after Pikachu. The headphones themselves are a bright yellow and have lightning details on the earmuffs, with little decals of Pikachu on the inside as well. Designed for extended play, it features a mesh head cushion and built-in sound insulation. Volume is also controlled through the headphones themselves, and it comes with a microphone to accommodate voice chat.

This isn’t the only new piece of Pokemon merchandise that’s on the agenda. The Pokemon Company announced a series of extra large cushions, this time featuring Gengar and Azumaril. Both cushions will be available in Japan in November 2024.

The most recent entry in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, is available for the Nintendo Switch.
