Pokemon: Paldean Winds Anime Episode Features Another Nemona Rival

The second Pokemon: Paldean Winds anime episode is here, and this time Nemona is one of the Scarlet and Violet characters appearing in it. It stars Aliquis, one of the students tasked with making a video for incoming newcomers. However, he’s also determined to find a way to beat Nemona while working alongside his Meowscarada in “Breathe In.”

Essentially, Aliquis is distracted from working on the video because he keeps thinking about a possible match with Nemona. After getting some advice, his older brother tells him to bench a Pokemon that’s been failing, meaning his partner Pokemon Meowscarada wouldn’t fight by his side. However, when the match comes, things may go differently than expected.

Here’s the Aliquis and Nemona match-up in Pokemon: Paldean Winds “Breathe In.”

There’s only been one other episode of this series of anime shorts so far. “Breathe Out” aired back in September 2023. It starred a student named Ohara who was also one of three tasked with working on a video alongside her Fuecoco. When she heads to the Glaseado Mountain to get away for a bit, she ends up encountering Arven and a hostile Cetitan.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch, and two more Paldean Winds anime episodes are planned. If it follows the current pattern of one per month, we could see the third episode in November 2023.
