Things will begin with an in-game video. Between November 22-30, 2021, people can watch Ed Sheeran sing while playing Pokemon GO. The News section will include it. Six songs are confirmed. Some are older tracks, like “Perfect” and “Thinking Out Loud.” However, others are from =. So people could also see him perform “Bad Habits,” “First Times,” “Overpass Graffiti,” and “Shivers.” The song “Overpass Graffiti” will also play in-game every night for those eight days.

As for the Pokemon portion of this Pokemon GO event, it involves a type Ed Sheeran likes. Water types will be more common. The Squirtle wearing sunglasses will appear in normal and shiny variants in the wild and as a Field Research Task reward. All other water starters—Froakie, Mudkip, Oshawott, Piplup, and Totodile—will also appear more often in the wild too.

Finally, there will be a new cosmetic option. People can get an = logo sweatshirt for their avatar. This features the album art. To get it, people need to redeem the code VVM87WGMMUZHTB8X during the event.

Pokemon GO is available for Android and Apple iOS devices, and the Ed Sheeran event will run November 22-30, 2021.
