Razer revealed the Pokemon Gengar model of its Razer Kraken Kitty V2 headset on October 16, 2024. However, the product is still limited to China. [Thanks, Inside Games!]
The announcement Tweet in question asked where it should sell the Gengar headset next. So there’s a chance that those outside of China will be able to get their hands on it as well. The headset is a modified version of the Kraken Kitty V2, featuring differently-shaped ears, a dark purple color scheme, and the tufts of fur that are between Gengar’s ears. Unlike the normal Kraken Kitty headset, there aren’t any RGB lights in the ears. This decision is likely so that the headset better resembles the Pokemon.
Back in July 2024, Razer released several Gengar PC accessories in China. There was a mouse, a mat, keycaps, and a keyboard wrist rest. The headset would complete the collection for any Gengar fan.
This isn’t the first time that Razer has sold Pokemon merchandise and made it exclusive to China. In the past, it released Orochi V2 gaming mice featuring Gengar, Charizard, Sylveon, and Jigglypuff. These were limited to China as well, though they appeared in countries like Malaysia as well.
The Pokemon Gengar headset from Razer is available in China. It’s unknown if Razer plans to sell it outside of the country.
