Pokemon Evolutions Anime Series Being Made by OLM Studios

Another short Pokemon anime web series called Pokemon Evolutions is on the way, and it’s being made by a studio well acquainted with the series. OLM worked on the show, the first episode of which will appear online on September 9, 2021. People will be able to catch the show both via Pokemon TV, which now has a Switch app, and YouTube.

As this is a celebratory series for the 25th anniversary of Pokemon, each episode will be a short look at something happening in one of the existing regions. All eight regions will each get their own episode, with it working backwards in a way. The most recently revealed region, Galar, will feature in the September 9, 2021 episode, followed by Pokemon Sun and Moon’s Alola on September 23, 2021. Things will wrap up with Pokemon Gold and Silver’s Johto on December 16, 2021 and Pokemon Red, Blue, Green and Yellow’s Kanto on December 23, 2021.

Here’s the full list of all the upcoming Pokemon Evolutions anime web episodes and when they will appear. Thanks to initial images and titles, we know the first Galarian episode will involve Leon, that region’s Champion.

1. ” The Champion” will air on September 9, 2021 and be set in Galar.
2. ”The Eclipse” will air on September 23, 2021 and be set in Alola.
3. ”The Visionary” will air on October 7, 2021 and be set in Kalos.
4. ”The Plan” will air on October 21, 2021 and be set in Unova.
5. ”The Rival” will air on December 2, 2021 and be set in Sinnoh.
6. ”The Wish” will air on December 9, 2021 and be set in Hoenn.
7. ”The Show” will air on December 16, 2021 and be set in Johto.
8. ”The Discovery” will air on December 23, 2021 and be set in Kanto.

If that animation looks familiar, it is because OLM is very familiar with Pokemon anime series and films. It started with the original Pokemon series in 1997 and Pokemon: The First Movie in 1998. Since then, it’s worked on multiple series and films based on the games. Its most recent one was Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Though it also worked on other shows and games, like Cardfight Vanguard, Yo-Kai Watch, Zoids Wild, and the upcoming anime adaptation of Komi Can’t Communicate.
