This year, Pokémon Centers in Japan are celebrating their 15th anniversary. To commemorate, they’ve been celebrating with various goods and events, such as the recently revealed a limited edition Eevee 3DS XL. Pokémon Center’s latest event, that started on the 15th of May, has people visiting stores to get free Lv. 100 Pokémon.
Each Pokémon Center will have an exclusive Lv. 100 Pokémon they’ll be giving away, but you’ll be able to get them just by visiting any Pokémon Center on their corresponding days. The special Pokémon are evolved forms of one of the main Pokémon seen on the respective store logos, which are different to each location. Here’s a look at the schedule for Pokémon giveaway:
Pokémon Center Sapporo: Lv. 100 Empeleon, May 15th-21st
Pokémon Center Tohoku: Lv. 100 Serperior, May 22nd-28th
Pokémon Center Tokyo: Lv. 100 Pikachu, May 29th-June 4th

The final one isn’t specific to any shop, but can be acquired by visiting any Pokémon Center. All of the Pokémon will also come with some rare items.
In addition to the mentioned Pokémon, by showing your reward to any of the staff at the shop, they’ll be giving out free poster cards (shown above) that have strategic guides written on the back.
On July 6th and 7th, a Pokémon Center Battle event will be held, which is going to be a nation-wide tournament for Pokémon Black and White, along with Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 players, held in all store locations. Day 1’s tournament will be a doubles event for all ages and Day 2 will be a singles tournament for children in elementary school.
The main rule will be that you must have one of the Pokémon that were given away at Pokémon Center’s 15th anniversary event in your main party (also, no legendaries!). Winning battles in the tournament will get you lottery tickets for a chance to participate in a tournament against other lucky winners. The main event will be broadcast throughout Pokémon Centers in Japan, making it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Pokémon Masters to shine on the big stage.
