Back in August 2024, Pocketpair announced three Palworld Twitch drop Pal skins for the PC version, but didn’t discuss anything for the Xbox Series X release. Now the company’s taken to social media to explain why those weren’t available on consoles and discuss a tentative plan for skin distribution going forward.
Pocketpair blamed the event skipping the Xbox Series X due to a lack of an account system. This means someone can’t link the console version of the game to a Twitch account. It did note the team is exploring a way to send out skins to those players and, when it does, people playing on an Xbox console will get the three Twitch drops skins that appeared between August and September 2024.
Here is Pocketpair’s full statement on Xbox Palworld Pal skins:
This announcement comes as the Twitch drops promotion ends. It started on August 21, 2024, and that first skin released was one for Relaxaurus. A second followed for Quivern between August 27, 2024 and September 3, 2024. Things came to a close with the Summer Chillet skin between September 3-10, 2024.
Palworld is in early access on the Xbox Series X and PC, and there’s no word yet on when Pal skins will be distributed on consoles.
