PlayStation Store Wishlist Returns for the Browser-based Version

Sony brought back a digital storefront staple. People who head to the PlayStation Store in a browser can once again add games to a wishlist. A small heart appears next to the “Add to Cart” button. Clicking it when you are logged into your account adds the game to a list of games. [Thanks, Resetera!]

This means people also have access to a dedicated PlayStation Store Wishlist page. While there, you can see the game’s full title, its current price, and the platforms it is playable on. You can also choose to view or remove the game from your list there. Once you add your first game to the list, a message also comes up to remind people that both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation App now have notification settings that will tell you when the status of things on your list change.

The PlayStation Store Wishlist was a staple for quite some time. As a reminder, Sony’s browser-based storefront first got the feature back in 2015. However, amidst the changes in 2020 that saw support for older systems removed, it was pulled. The PS5 PlayStation Store added that feature again back in October 2020. The feature hasn’t been added to the PlayStation App.
