Sony announced three PlayStation Plus additions that will be available starting May 4, 2021. This time, there’s a decidedly gritty theme. People can head to war in Battlefield V or attempt to survive in Stranded Deep on the PS4. PS5 owners can also hop into virtual cars with Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last.
Battlefield V is the latest DICE first-person shooter in the series. It takes place during WWII. It first launched in November 2018. It normally costs $39.99 on the PlayStation Store.
Stranded Deep is a first-person survival game. You need to keep your character alive and gradually find and create supplies that will help you deal with the elements. It debuted back in April 2020. Normally, it is $19.99 on the PlayStation Store.
As for Wreckfest, it first showed up on the PS4 in 2019. Its PS5 update, which will cost an additional $10 for existing owners, will debut on June 1, 2021. However, its inclusion means people will get it for free. Normally, the PS4 version of the game costs $29.99 on the PlayStation Store.
People will have until May 3, 2021 to claim the April 2021 PlayStation Plus games. Sony added Days Gone (PS4), Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5), and Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4) to the Instant Game Collection that month.
As a reminder, Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition is available for free until May 14, 2021. This is available for everyone, as it is a Play at Home initiative game and not a PlayStation Plus bonus.
