PlayStation Network Trophies Can Now Earn Sony Rewards Points

The Sony Rewards program is giving PlayStation Network users more ways to earn points they can put towards discounts and rewards. People who have linked both of their accounts can now get points for taking part in various PlayStation Network activities.

All of the tasks to earn rewards are shown on the Sony Rewards website. They are valid for people in the United States. Here is a list of things people can earn.

• Sign up for 4 free PlayStation Network service trials and get a 15% off discount code for PlayStation Store.
• Subscribe to 3 PlayStation™Network services and earn 500 points.
• Get 100 Silver Trophies while you game and earn 100 points.
• Get 25 Gold Trophies while you game and earn 250 points.
• Get 10 Platinum Trophies while you game and earn 1,000 points.
• Rent 3 movies from PlayStation™Store and earn 250 points.
• Purchase 3 eligible Sony Pictures movies from PlayStation™Store and earn 500 points.
• Register 5 eligible discs and get a free Sony movie code.

Be advised that you can earn 2,600 points from these missions. You could put that toward two $10 PlayStation Store discount coupons, which are 1,000 points each.
