There is a PlayStation Network outage in multiple regions on November 3, 2020. The official North American and Great Britain support pages are both showing issues, and the Japanese Twitter account reported Sony is aware of the issue back at about 5:30pm ET on November 3, 2020. Sony is looking into the problem, according to the tweet.
The Japanese Twitter account mentioned that both the PlayStation Network and the PlayStation Store may be affected. The official English support pages are showing green lights for services like PlayStation Now and the PlayStation Store, but did note that both PlayStation Video and PlayStation Network outages are an issue. As of 8:50pm CT, sending multiplayer invites and sending messages is an issue in Illinois, though I was able to access the PlayStation Store. The website DownDetector has also had reports in the last 24 hours that seem to have began around 4pm ET.
The English PlayStation social media accounts have not commented on the issues yet. People looking for update might want to check in with both the PlayStation and AskPlayStation accounts in the event of an update.
Also, as a note, the PlayStation Support page does still have a message online reminding people about download speeds being slower than usual as a result of the pandemic.
