PlayStation 4 Surpasses 91.6 Million In Worldwide Sales; Marvel’s Spider-Man Passes 9 Million

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced a couple big milestones with the PS4 reaching 91.6 million in worldwide sales after a strong holiday season and Marvel’s Spider-Man topping 9 million copies.

According to Sony’s press release, the PS4 has now cumulatively sold more than 91.6 million units worldwide as of December 31, 2018. Within that period,the PS4 sold over 5.6 million from the 2018 holiday season.

 

Over 50.7 million PS4 games were sold globally during the 2018 holiday season, adding to the total of 876 million PS4 games cumulatively sold through worldwide as of December 31, 2018.

 

As for Marvel’s Spider-Man which launched in September 2018, it reached a new milestone of 9 million copies sold worldwide as of November 25, 2018.
