GungHo Online Entertainment America has announced the Puzzle & Dragons International Championship for Nintendo 3DS owners. People can compete to prove they’re the best in North America at ESL Gaming Studios’ California matchup, then later play in Japan at the International Championship finals.

People can enter the Puzzle & Dragons International Championship by playing Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition. To enter, a player must go through Score Challenge Hard Mode and earn a score of C or higher. They must then take a picture of themselves holding the 3DS showing the score, as well as provide proof of their identity and the date. This must be submitted at the official website by October 31.

The 12 highest scoring individuals in North America will be contacted by GungHo Online Entertainment on November 1. They will be joined by four Community Rep Contestants selected by the developer and participate in the California tournament on December 7 in first round, semi, and finals Score Attack Hard Mode matches of Puzzle & Dragons Super Mario Bros. Edition. The top four scorers will attend the International Championship in Tokyo, Japan on January 30-31, 2016. Each participant will receive a Puzzle & Dragons International Championship jacket.
