Just when we thought we saw it all from PlatinumGames and their recent April Fools’ joke, the company announced a fifth announcement coming for Platinum 4 as a “bonus stage”.
Since PlatinumGames first announced the Platinum 4 back in February, the company has made three major announcements. The first announcement was a big surprise with The Wonderful 101: Remastered announced as a Kickstarter campaign. Project G.G. followed as the second announcement, as a new game directed by Hideki Kamiya. The third announcement was about PlatinumGames’ new Tokyo studio. Lastly, the fourth “announcement” was an April Fools’ joke in collaboration with Hamster that brought a “radical return of Terra Cresta” in the form of a new arcade game, Sol Cresta.
Hideki Kamiya mentioned that he wanted to remind people what PlatinumGames is about when they announced the April Fools’ joke as the #4 announcement, but it seems like we could get the real fourth major announcement with this one.

No further information was shared on the fifth announcement, but the Platinum 4 website has been updated to show the “bonus stage” along with a date of xx.xx.2020 for whatever it ends up being.
