Pikmin Shampoo & Conditioner is Safe For Eyes

Nintendo has started selling a 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner featuring Pikmin. It says “for kids” on the packaging, but adults can use it as well.

The shampoo uses arnica essence, marine collagen, and amino acids for moisturizing your hair. It’s also tear-free in the sense that it has less chances of irritating the eyes if you accidentally get it on your face. Each bottle of shampoo costs 638 JPY ($4.50) and you can get it in the Nintendo stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. It seems from the product description that the only Pikmin element in the shampoo comes from the packaging.

Even a year after Pikmin 4, the most recent Pikmin game, came out, Nintendo, Bandai, and other companies still release products based on the popular little mascots. In June 2023, Bandai released Pikmin bath bombs that look like lemons. However, after you put it in the water, a little Pikmin toy will come out. In July 2024, Re-Ment also released several terrariums depicting what life looks like for a Pikmin.

Pikmin 4 is readily available on the Nintendo Switch. You can get the Pikmin 2-in-1 shampoo & conditioner from Nintendo stores around Japan. As of the time of writing, you can’t purchase it online via the Bandai Lifestyle website.
