People will be able to see firsthand how Pikmin 3 has changed for the Nintendo Switch port. A Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo will be released on the eShop on October 7, 2020. It was announced during the October 2020 Nintendo Treehouse Live and will let people sample the initial gameplay.
The first draw for this trial is the ability to carry over your progress. Any save data you make in this demo can be carried over to the full Pikmin 3 Deluxe game.
One unlock was also announced during the stream. There will be a Pikmin 3 Deluxe Ultra-Spicy difficulty level. This will limit you to only 60 Pikmin with your character. Should someone defeat the demo’s final boss, then you will have access to Ultra-Spicy right away in the full game. (This is one of the new features, like the addition of campaign co-op and Olimar and Louie segments.)
Pikmin 3 Deluxe will come to the Nintendo Switch on October 30, 2020. People will be able to see what the game will be like soon, as the Pikmin 3 Deluxe demo will launch on the eShop on October 7, 2020. The Pikmin Short Movies will also be uploaded to Nintendo’s official YouTube account sometime in the near future, following their Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eShop delisting.
