Pokémon Stand is a new Pokémon vending machine that is now available at various Pokémon Centers, as well as several airports and other places in Japan, and Pikachu will be appearing on the screen to guide and recommend plushies to people passing by. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
The Pokémon Stand vending machines focuses on selling various Pokémon plushies, especially those of popular Pokémon. They can be found at Pokémon Centers, train stations, and airports – places people might want to look for souvenirs in Japan.
Mascot Pokémon Pikachu will appear on the screen to guide people through the buying process on the touch panel, including showing larger images of the plushies before the final confirmation. Pokémon Stand machines also currently have Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean as available languages.
Buying from a Pokémon Stand will also net buyers a Roto Loto code that can be used with Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Furthermore, all Pokémon Stand vending machines will act as Pokémon GO gym stops starting from June 15, 2018.
