Pikachu ASMR is officially now a thing from The Pokemon Company. ASMR (Autonomous sensory meridian response) videos have been getting increasingly more popular on YouTube in recent years. Now we have one with an extra spark from our favorite electric mouse Pokemon.

ASMR – Pikachu by the Patio

The 15-minute video puts you in a room with Pikachu during a lazy sunny afternoon. The Pokemon Company recommends using earphones for optimal effect. The video starts out with Pikachu running about and playing with a ball.

The sounds of the steps and the ball bouncing might sound pleasing to some, but Pikachu might also be one of the worst ASMR features if you’re actually trying to relax. I mean, he clearly has the zoomies early on and even breaks what sounds like a vase in the background at one point. However, at around the halfway point, the Pikachu gets tired and crashes out for the rest of the video. Pikachu looks so adorable during his sleep, that you’ll forget about the damage caused in the first half.

If the Pikachu ASMR didn’t do it for you, there are other official Pokemon ASMR videos for you to check out including “Squirtle’s Day at the Beach” and  “Charmander’s Fireside Slumber.”
