The Pokemon Squishmallow line is going to kick off with Gengar and Pikachu. It seems like both could be home for the 2022 holiday season. The official Pokemon Twitter account teased their release. It showed a brief video of a woman lying on a bed of Gengars and Pikachus while tossing a Pikachu plush in the air. The announcement noted both stuffed animals will appear via the Pokemon Center storefront. It also limited the upcoming release, set for “very soon,” to Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Here’s the full video clip. It appears that both the Pikachu and Gengar Pokemon Squishmallow plush could be about 14 inches tall. However, it seems like non-licensed versions of Squishmallows of that size tend to cost around $20 each.

As a reminder, both characters debuted at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Pikachu and Gengar were both on display at a booth showing off an array of Squishmallow products. Allegedly, additional waves of characters will appear. Supposedly, Snorlax and Togepi Squishmallow stuffed animals will also eventually be released.
While there’s no release date for either the Pikachu or Gengar Pokemon Squishmallow plush yet, they are “coming soon” to Canada, the UK, and the USA. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will come to the Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
