More and more Japanese publishers are beginning to self-publish their Nintendo 3DS games in the west. This week, Jupiter announced that they’ll be bringing Picross e2 to North America and Brazil later in July.

Picross e2 includes features like a Navigator System, which shows players the next square to be coloured and columns with squares to be marked with an X. Advanced players have the option of turning this feature off.

The game has over 120 puzzles, 5*5, some are 10*10, and some are 15*15. Jupiter say the size of the puzzle doesn’t necessarily indicate its difficulty. Picross e2 also allows you to play using buttons instead of the stylus.

Jupiter will release Picross e2 later this month. You can read more about the game here. It’s already available in PAL territories, in case you happen to live in Europe.

Additionally, Jupiter are already planning to bring Picross e3 to the west as well. That game will be available in September.
