We’ve seen all kinds of collaborations with Phantasy Star Online 2, but it looks like Phantasy Star Nova for PlayStation Vita will also get its share with a recently announced collaboration with Resonance of Fate, according to this week’s issue of Famtisu magazine.
The collaboration consists of costumes and weapons used by the characters in Resonance of Fate, an RPG that was also developed by tri-Ace and set in the distant future Earth. We don’t know which characters as of yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see stuff from Zephyr, Vahyron, Leanne, and a few others thrown in the mix.
While details on the collaboration are still light, the report also shares more on a new operator character named Kisara, who will help out in battle situations by telling you about enemy locations and ideal strategies.
Phantasy Star Nova will have different facilities, and you’ll get to use them after waking up allies from their cold sleeps. Shops can be expanded for more item and weapon creation by using specific items dropped by enemies as well.
As far as other collaborations, Phantasy Star Online 2 characters will also appear in Phantasy Star Nova to help out in fights, but they won’t be part of the story in any way. More details on the Resonance of Fate collaboration will be revealed in the near future.
Phantasy Star Nova is slated for release on November 27 in Japan for PlayStation Vita.
