As part of the series’ 25th anniversary, Persona will have a collaboration with Namjatown, which is an indoor theme park run by Namco. The event will run between December 17, 2021 and January 30, 2022. To match with Namjatown’s cat theme, the Persona series’ main characters will all appear as catboys and catgirls. [Thanks, Persona Central!]
Details are still scarce, but more information on goods and such will appear in the near future. Collaboration merchandise will be available online via the Namco Parks online store. As of writing, the store does not have any Persona items. In addition, according to Persona Central, Morgana will “play an active role.” As there are cat kigurumi figures walking around Namjatown, it is likely that during the Persona collaboration, Morgana will appear as one of them.
Atlus announced several pieces of commemorative merchandise for Persona’s 25th anniversary. For example, there is a collector’s edition hoodie bearing the insignias of the five high schools that served as the backdrop for the mainline games. There are also items such as pouches, compact mirrors, and charm watches available via T-Fan Site.
The Persona and Namjatown collaboration will start on December 17, 2021 and end on January 30, 2022. More details on merchandise will appear soon.
