Only those who pre-registered for the closed beta tests and were selected will be able to try the Japanese version of Persona 5: The Phantom X. The pre-registration period for the test was open between September 26, 2024 and October 6, 2024. Perfect World Games already notified the selected players back in November 15, 2024, letting them know they can play.

The original version which censored blood in the scenes that featured it, such as Persona awakenings.
