Ahead of Sony’s January 2022 PlayStation Plus games selection reveal, leaks suggested Persona 5 Strikers would be among them. They’ve been proven accurate. The Musou-style sequel to the RPG will be part of the lineup for the month. The PS4 game will also be joined by Deep Rock Galactic (PS4, PS5) and Dirt 5 (PS4, PS5). Subscribers can claim them starting on January 4, 2022.
Deep Rock Galactic first showed up on the Xbox One and PC in May 2020. (It normally costs $29.99 on those platforms.) It will be making its PS4 and PS5 debut in January 2022. It is a first-person shooter where people go alone or with up to three other people, destroying everything and trying to get equipment and resources.
Dirt 5 is the latest off-road driving and racing game in the series. It launched back in November 2020. Normally, it costs $59.99. In addition to a career campaign, there are also different sorts of events for online and offline racing.
Persona 5 Strikers is essentially a sequel to Persona 5. It takes place on a summer trip after the events of the main game. However, rather than a turn-based RPG, people head into the Metaverse and deal with new threats in beat’em up battles. All of the original cast members return as playable characters. They’re joined by new people like Sophia. It launched back in February 2021 outside Japan and normally costs $59.99.
Persona 5 Strikers, Deep Rock Galactic, and Dirt 5 are available with PlayStation Plus starting January 4.
