Persona 5 Ships Out 550,000 Copies, Celebrates With Catherine And Swimsuit Costumes

 Persona 5 released two weeks ago, and Atlus announced that the hit RPG on PS4 and PS3 has already shipped over 550,000 copies. To celebrate, they’re releasing some DLC ahead of schedule, and for free.

Catherine Costumes:

The Catherine Costume & BGM Special Set will be available starting October 5 through October 10, and will be free during this period. Afterwards, the set will be available for purchase for 800 yen.

 

Swimsuit Costumes:

The Swimsuit Set will also be available starting October 5, 2016 and will be free as a way to celebrate its 550,000 copies shipped.

Atlus artist Shigenori Soejima also joined in on the fun with an illustration of Persona 5’s protagonist to celebrate the milestone.

 

Persona 5 is available in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game releases in North America and Europe on February 14, 2017. You can get a look at a bunch of other DLC costumes from past Persona titles in our earlier report.
