Earlier today, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers was shown off on livestream, where the Sapporo portion of the game was shown off. [Thanks, Game’s Talk!]
After enjoying a bright respite from battles in sunny Summer Sapporo, the Phantom Thieves dive into the third Jail, amusingly accompanied by a cutscene of everyone shivering in the cold. That’s right – it seems to be eternally Winter in the Sapporo Jail, befitting of the season Hokkaido is known for.
Additionally, Joker’s ability to switch Personas is also shown off, and how his strength will be determined by watch Persona he has equipped. Joker will be able to swiftly switch Personas to deal weakness elemental damage to enemies.
You can check out the gameplay in the video above, starting at the 1:09:20 mark.
Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will come to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 20, 2020. A demo experience will be available for the game in Japan, with Atlus touring the country with the game in tow.
