With a little over a couple more weeks to go for Persona 5 Royal‘s Western release, Atlus shared a new “Change the World” trailer.
Check out the latest English dub trailer below:
The game is an updated and enhanced version of Persona 5 with new characters, events, and areas. The trailer is mostly a quick summary and introduction to the Phantom Thieves, starting with the new heroine Kasumi Yoshizawa. Similar to the protagonist, Kasumi is a first-year student at Shujin Academy. She’s an accomplished gymnast who lives a double life as a Phantom Thief.
In addition to playable Kasumi, the game introduces a new Confidant in Takuto Maruki, a part-time school counselor. It also introduces the young puppet-like boy named Jose who researches humans. You can collect flowers and star stamps in Mementos to trade Jose for items.
Digital pre-orders will come with an original Persona 5 Royal theme as a bonus. Furthermore, all the original Persona 5 DLC will be free for all Persona 5 Royal players.
Persona 5 Royal will release for the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on March 31, 2020. It is currently available for PS4 in Japan and Asia. Check our previous report for a crash course trailer on the game.
