Persona 4 Golden PC Update Adds Social Link Album, Quick Save

People with the PC version of Persona 4 Golden on Steam will soon be able to access new features. Atlus announced it will bring the existing game up to par with the new console ports appearing in January 2023. The update will even arrive on the same day as the new ports: January 19, 2023. Among the new features will be the option to relive past Social Link conversations you’ve already seen in Persona 4.

First, there’s a general update to the game. People will need a 64-bit version of Windows to play. Existing save files from the 32-bit version will still work. However, after the patch arrives, that update will not be available.

More languages will also be available. Right now, someone can play the JRPG on a PC in four languages. English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese are there. (Only English and Japanese voice acting is present.) After the update, people can also play it in French, German, Italian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.

Finally, the two new features will appear. The Album can be accessed when the hero is in his room. When someone sits on the sofa, they will have the option to revisit already unlocked Persona 4 Golden Social Link conversations. There will also be suspend saves. When someone uses a Quick Save, they can immediately return to that exact point. Previously, you could only save at places like the calendar in the house’s living room or before heading into a dungeon.

Persona 4 Golden is immediately available on the PC via Steam. Its major update will arrive on January 19, 2023. That is also when the game will make its Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X debut.
