Very little insight into the Persona 5 Joker cameo came up during the Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis gamescom teaser. We got to see the Challenge Battle logo with the Phantom Thieves emblem appear on the screen. We also got to see Joker as an opponent using Arsene to fight.

Here’s that first Persona 5 Persona 3 Reload teaser:

As a reminder, Episode Aigis takes place after the best ending of Persona 3 Reload. Aigis and the members of SEES find themselves trapped in the dorm and in a time loop. The Abyss of Time dungeon appears in the building’s basement. Alongside a new character named Metis, who calls herself Aigis and is a similar sort of combat robot, the group head into the depths and attempt to find a way forward. The story and some gameplay was highlighted in an early August 2024 trailer.

We also had a chance to hear some of the songs from the add-on early. Atlus shared the tracks “Don’t” and “Heartful Cry” on streaming services like Spotify. While “Don’t” is entirely new, “Heartful Cry” is a new take on a familiar song from Persona 3 FES.

Persona 3 Reload is available now on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and Episode Aigis: The Answer DLC will debut on September 10, 2024.
