When asked about the possibility of a port of Persona 3 Reload reaching the hybrid platform, the developers said that “since starting to conceptualize [the remake], we decided that there would be no Nintendo Switch version.” The developers admitted that the idea for a Switch version still exists. However, Yamaguchi and Niitsuma added that whether or not this version comes to happen is a matter of discussing it with the development team and see what they think about it.

A Nintendo Switch port of Persona 5 Royal released on October 21, 2022, followed by Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden ports appearing on January 19, 2023. The Switch versions of the games were initially announced back in June 2022 on a Nintendo Direct Mini. Meanwhile, Persona 3 Reload was announced on June 2023 during the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase. Atlus later confirmed it for all last gen and current platforms, with the exception of the Nintendo Switch.

Persona 3 Reload will appear for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on February 2, 2024.
