Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is now available. However, launch isn’t exactly smooth. Connection issues plagued the game once things kicked off. As such, Square Enix began FFVII The First Soldier maintenance. However, the company announced that some elements of the Final Fantasy battle royale can still be “played” while maintenance is ongoing. Update: As of 12:15pm ET on November 17, 2021, maintenance is over.
Not long after launch on November 17, 2021, Square Enix reported server congestion. Which in turn caused connection issues. At 8am ET, it announced FFVII The First Soldier maintenance to deal with the problem.
While that is happening, some areas of the game still can be used. People can still start it up. They can head into the character creator to make their avatar. The tutorial is also available. However, Square Enix and Ateam didn’t mention how long the FFVII The First Soldier maintenance will last.
MAINTENANCE UPDATE 1
Maintenance is ongoing, but character customization, the tutorial, and other non-battle features are available for use.
We will share additional updates as we can.#FF7FS
