Paper Mario: Color Splash Trailer Introduces The Rescue V Team

A new Paper Mario: Color Splash trailer has been released, and it introduces a heroic group of toads. Rescue V is a sentai squad, like the Power Rangers, made up of Rescue Red, Rescue Blue, Rescue Yellow, Rescue Purple, and Rescue Green. Together, they’re the fearless color defenders that attempt to take on missions to help Mario restore color to the world.

The first episode shows how Toads will aid Mario throughout Paper Mario: Color Splash. In one section, he’s using Rescue Purple toads as a staircase. Rescue Green Toads act as a bridge in another. He even needs aid from Rescue Yellow Toads to pluck a giant turnip.

Paper Mario: Color Splash will come to the Nintendo Wii U on October 7, 2016.
