UploadVR and Wildman showcased a teaser trailer for Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record, the upcoming anthology VR game that will let you play through iconic scenes from across the series. The crowdfunding campaign for it will be held sometime in 2020, and the game is now set for a 2021 release. (It was previously set for Fiscal Year 2020 release.)
The main highlight of the teaser trailer was brand-new concept art that was drawn by Panzer Dragoon Orta concept artist Koichiro Tamura. The trailer also went over the reasons why Panzer Dragoon is compatible with VR and showed off a few more new screenshots of the Blue Dragon from various angles. The notes in the screenshots revealed that the VR game is being made via Unreal Engine.

The trailer noted that Wildman is planning to hold a crowdfunding campaign for the game, as will be entirely self-funded. (You can read about why Sega allowed the indie developer to do this in our previous translation here.) The game will release for the PlayStation VR and other PC and standalone headsets.
The game was first announced back in March 2020, just as the Panzer Dragoon remake by another developer was about to be releasee. Later, it was clarified that creator Yukio Futatsugi isn’t involved, although he gave his blessings to the project.
Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record will release in 2021 for VR headsets after a crowdfunding campaign in 2020.
