Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record Announced as a New VR Title

Developer Wildman announced Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record (tentative title) as a new VR title expected to release by March 2021.

Wildman describes the game as a “VR dramatic shooter” that relives episodes from the Sega Saturn trilogy. It includes Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, and Panzer Dragoon Saga.

The game is a completely new work featuring episodes from the trilogy. It has new graphics optimized for the first-person view on VR headsets. It also comes with a new input method that makes the VR controller play like the handgun of the dragon rider.

More information on the episodes and platforms will be announced on a later date.

Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record will launch for VR headsets sometime in the 2020 Japanese Fiscal Year (until March 2021).
