Night School Studio is an independent game studio that consists of Telltale and Disney alumni who want to make story games filled with wonder, danger, and humor. So what? Well, take a look at the studio’s newly announced game Oxenfree.

It’s described as being “a supernatural teen thriller about a group of friends who unwittingly open a ghostly rift.” In it, you play as Alex as she and her stepbrother Jonas attend an overnight party. Of course, the party goes wrong, and that’s when the adventure starts.

As you’ll see in the trailer, you’ll get the opportunity to guide Alex’s reactions to conversations by selecting one of three speech bubbles. Other mechanics on show include changing the radio station, some basic sidescrolling platforming and exploration, and contextual interactions such as taking selfies and drinking alcohol.

Little else is know about Oxenfree right now other than that it stars voice actors who performed in Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead, and Tales From The Borderlands, as well as talent from Borderlands and its sequel, and Tomb Raider.
